Street Names

LSD: Acid, Trips, Smillies, Strawbs, Lucy.

Appearance

Clear odourless liquid or on blotting paper with a variety of motifs hence the names.

Methods of Ingestion

Swallowed on blotting paper or in liquid form. Occasionally dropped into the eyes in liquid form.

Consequences of use

A strong hallucinogenic that can induce bad ‘trips’ which may last for days afterwards. EFFECTS: lasts for 8-12 hours. May trigger mental health problems. Paranoia, ‘flashbacks’ and strong visual and auditory hallucinations.


Magic Mushrooms


Street Names

Magic Mushrooms: Mushies, Shrooms, Liberty Bell, Psylocibin, Fly agaric.

Appearance

Brown to black, often dried organic mushroom like. Red and white spotted (Fly Agaric)

Methods of Ingestion

Eaten in a variety of forms, fresh or prepared, or made into tea and drunk.

Consequences of use

EFFECTS: Hallucinogenic effects similar to LSD, nausea, vomiting. At high levels paranoia. The main danger is from picking and eating the incorrect mushroom.
